What is the National Network Support System?

As you are aware the New Muslims Project was set up to address the needs of those new to Islam in so far as the demand and our resources would allow.

Al-Hamdulillah, the progress so far has been steady and we continue to explore more possibilities which would help towards building and strengthening the overall service.

Considerable discussion indicated that a wider support network was required to cater for individual needs on a one to one basis and particularly within the local areas, cities and towns across the whole of the UK.

This contributes more favourably to the understanding that it is indeed at the local level that each of those who have chosen Islam should become involved in the Muslim community and its activities, thus enabling them to become active participants therein.

Many, through personal experience, have been giving this kind of support already and are very much aware of its importance and success. With more and more enquiries coming in to the centre on a daily basis we felt the time had come to establish a National Network Support System on a more secure basis, thus working together with all those locally based organizations, so that a network of support is available to those new to Islam all over the UK..

So far we have, together with all those dedicated to this work up and down the country, established a number of contacts and are busily searching out others around the country who possess the maturity, sensitivity and personal experience necessary for this work.

If you have the time and feel you would like to be involved in this rewarding work, or you know of other men and women you feel have the qualities, and most importantly the time and commitment, to dedicate towards this effort, please do contact us for further discussion.
